Nepal’s COVID-19 recovery rate improves to 94 percent

The coronavirus recovery rate in Nepal has improved to 94 percent as of Monday afternoon.

A total of 1,628 individuals got discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 227,433 in the country.

In the last 24 hours, 6,220 samples were tested through the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

So far, the number of PCR tests has reached 1.79 million, the ministry said.

Nepal’s COVID-19 tally has reached 241,995 with fresh cases, while the death toll is 1,614, as of Monday afternoon.
