The National Information Commission today celebrated its 11th establishment day by organising various programmes in the capital.
At a tea reception organised at NIC premises, ministers, chiefs of constitutional bodies, senior officials of government, spokesperson of the security bodies, human rights activists and media persons were present.
The NIC celebrated its establishment day under the slogan “Our rights to information: Basis for good governance and development.”
The NIC had organised a morning rally this morning. The NIC is submitting its report to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today itself.
