A person has killed in a road accident which took place in Bhandara of Chitwan on Friday night. The incident took place when a passenger bus, state 1-01001 kha 3464, hit a scooter, state 3-02014 pa 1446.
The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Rajiv Thakur of Parwanipur municipality-2, Bara.
Thakur, who was riding pillion, was seriously injured in the accident and died in course of treatment at the Old medical college hospital in Chitwan.
As shared by Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office Yek Narayan Koirala, the scooter rider Srisav Devkota,22, of Bharatpur municipality-10 was sustained injuries. Devkota is undergoing treatment at the same medical college hospital.
The bus driver has been impounded for necessary action.
