A man has died in a road accident that took place near Deurali in Ratna highway last night.
The deceased has been identified as Raj Kumar Chaudhary, the driver of a jeep (Bhe 1 Cha. 1639) that collided with a passenger bus (Bhe. 1 Kha. 2759). Chaudhary was a resident of Baijanath rural municipality-2.
As shared by the police inspector at the District Police Office, Banke Pabindra Kumar Bam, Chaudhary who was seriously injured died during treatment at the Teaching Hospital in Kohalpur.
The driver’s assistant Manoj Chaudhary and six other passengers of the Jeep sustained minor injuries in the accident.
