A person met with an injury when a bus overturned in a drain and knocked down a motorcycle in Chitwan district on Thursday night. The deceased has been identified as Suraj Poudel, 35, of Ratnanagar Municipality-10 in Chitwan.
He was rushed to the Chitwan-based Old Medical College for the treatment after an accident. Finally, during the treatment he breathed his last according to the District Police Office, Chitwan.
The bus (Na 1 Cha 9412) coming to Padampur from Ratnanagar Municiplaity-10 in the district suddenly lost its control and hit the motorcycle (Ba 55 Pa 7414) coming from Chitrasari to Sauraha.
Police have taken the driver of the bus under legal custody while further investigation into the case is underway.
