Paragliding is becoming popular lately among the people who love adventure sports.
And Dharan is no exception. The adventure sports are attracting an increasing flow of tourists. Paragliders are seen flying in the sky in Dharan and surrounding areas like Chinde, Danda, Gorkha Park and Bhedetar.
Although Dharan tested paragliding flights in 2067 BS, its craze started growing lately. Dharan could become a hub for the adventure sports beyond Pokhara, said a paraglider Mani Kumar Jimi.
The paragliding operators have demanded that the government and local authorities should manage physical infrastructure and develop the adventure sport.
