Parliament dissolution was not abrupt decision: PM Oli

21 December 2020, Kathmandu

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said the decision to dissolve parliament was not taken abruptly.

He said that this situation was created due to the activities of some leaders within the party against the people’s expectations.

Addressing the nation on Monday, Prime Minister Oli argued that the people-elected government had no choice but to go before the people after it was not allowed to work.

The Prime Minister said that the government faced hurdles since the beginning.

“Delay in government formation was done at the beginning. The government was formed by clearing hurdles, and then some leaders continue attempts for creating instability,” he accused.
