Kathmandu, April 3
The first session of the Federal Parliament comprising the House of Representatives and the National Assembly is to be prorogued from 12 tonight.
At the conclusion of the today’s parliament meeting, Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara read out from a letter sent by President Bidya Devi Bhandari announcing the prorogation of the first session of the Federal Parliament.
The first meeting of both the Upper House and the Lower House of the federal parliament had started on March 5.
