Kathmandu, Feb 14
The Party Unification Coordination Committee is taking place on Wednesday to give final shape to unification between the CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Centre).
An understanding on the same has been reached during separate meetings of Committee with CPN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli and CPN (MC) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal in Lalitpur today.
Dahal’s Chief Personal Secretary Jokh Bahadur Mahara said, “Today’s meeting concluded in a positive way with a target to finalize party unity before the formation of the government. An understanding has been reached to hold Party Unification Coordination Committee on Wednesday.”
CPN (UML) Chair Oli, CPN (MC) Chair Dahal, CPN (UML) leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, Vice-Chairman Bamdev Gautam, General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel and CPN (MC) leaders—Narayankaji Shrestha and Ram Bahadur Thapa are members of the Party Unification Coordination Committee.
