Party unity not possible only from adjustment of two leaders, says leader Nepal



Chitwan, Feb 14

CPN (UML) leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that party unity between CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Centre) was not possible only after adjustment of two leaders.

Talking briefly to media persons here today, leader Nepal said that the two parties should be united only after making an adjustment of leaders as well as standing committee members and lower-level cadres of both parties.

He said that uniting the parties by removing all obstacles surfaced in this connection as soon as possible was the need of the hour.

Also the former Prime Minister, Nepal said, “It is necessary to conclude the party unification process by holding a discussion on various topics including the date of party unification and ideology that party should adopt.”

Saying the government should be formed before party unification, he said time has now come for the formation of a new government.

On a different note, leader Nepal said that the new government would withdraw some decisions taken by the caretaker government.
