A photo exhibition has begun here in Lumbini coinciding with ‘Visit Lumbini Year’ that is taking place from tomorrow.
Organised by the Federation of Nepali Photojournalists, various photos of State 5 have been put on display. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister of the State Shankar Pokharel said that Visit Lumbini Year would help establish Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautam Buddha. Lumbini Master Plan would be concluded by developing Lumbini, he said.
“Culture and tradition of Lumbini has a direct link with its development,” he said.
On the occasion, vice president of the Lumbini Development Trust Abadhesh Tripathi and vice chairperson of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, State 5 chapter, Bharat KC praised the role of photojournalists in the development of Lumbini.
