Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli who underwent a second kidney transplant on last Wednesday shaved his beard himself today morning.
As shared by PM Oli’s Press Advisor Surya Thapa, he shaved his beard himself this morning.
Taking to Twitter, Thapa said there has been a remarkable improvement in PM Oli’s health, and he has been able to walk and do exercise with ease.
PM Oli was expected to be discharged on Wednesday. However, the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) said even though there has been a noticeable improvement in PM’s health condition, he will not be discharged immediately issuing a press statement on Tuesday.
According to Dr Divya Singh, PM Oli’s personal doctor, one of the main reasons is that PM’s residence would not be ‘medically fit’ considering the nature of the surgery, and the fear of infection.
She also shared that it will take around six months for PM Oli to recover completely.
Meanwhile, the health condition of Samiksha Sangraula who donated one of her kidneys to Prime Minister Oli is also recuperating. She is likely to be discharged soon, doctors shared.
