The government has urged President Bidya Devi Bhandari to announce the government’s policies and programmes for the fiscal year 2018/19 on May 21.
State Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Banskota informed that a Cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Monday night urged the President to announce the government’s policies and programmes in the joint parliament meeting at 4 pm.
The Cabinet meeting also concluded that the two-day state visit made by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a success. The meeting said that the visit had further strengthened the relations between Nepal and India.
