Probe committee formed to investigate the incident involving shoe attack on Dahal

A probe committee has been formed in order to investigate the incident involving the shoe attack aimed at the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

Metropolitan Police Office, Ranipokhari on Monday formed a three-member probe panel under the coordination of SSP Sahakul Thapa on Monday.

The other members in the committee include DSP Hobindra Bogati of Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu and a Police Inspector of Metropolitan Police Circle, Singha Durbar.

Ratan Tiruwa, who originally hails from Jumla district, hurled a shoe at Dahal while he was returning to his seat after delivering a speech at a program organized to commemorate late NCP leader Bharat Mohan Adhikari at the City Hall in the capital on Sunday.
