Prof Dr. Durga Prasad Bhandari passed away at the age of 85 on Saturday.
Bhandari breathed his last at around 12 noon today while undergoing treatment at the Kathmandu-based HAMS Hospital.
Bhandari who was also a senior litterateur had worked as Chief of English Department at Tribhuvan University for long.
He was suffering from lungs-related ailments. His last rites will be performed at Pashupati Aryaghat today.
