Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Banskota has said that the government had no intention of delimiting the media sector.
Speaking in a programme organized by the FNJ Rupandehi chapter here today, Minister Banskota shared that the government had only the motive of making the media sector respected and responsible.
He added that the proportional advertisement policy will benefit the journalists adding that it was tabled in the parliament for further discussion.
On another note, Banskota shared that the government was accelerating developmental activities and result will be seen soon.
Minister Banskota, also the government spokesperson, shared that various policies concerning the media sector would be drafted soon.
