Province 3 Chief Minister Dormani Poudel has said the province government would always remain committed to strengthening of parliamentary democracy, and economic prosperity of the people.
In his address to a ceremony organised on the occasion of the 11th Republic Day here today, the Chief Minister said the province was working to formulate new laws so as to gather economic resources for meeting the goals of sustainable development though combined efforts among the central, province and local-level governments. He took the time to admit that despite the celebration of 100 days of the establishment, functions of province government were limited to a certain periphery in absence of required laws. He pledged to implement the Hetauda-Kathmandu tunnel track, giving it top priority. Hetauda is the provisional capital of province 3 that comprises 13 districts from Bhaktapur to Sindhuli.
