Province Assembly meeting of Province no 5 has today unanimously passed a bill designed to make provision regarding the procedure for authenticating the public records-2075.
Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Minister, Kul Prasad KC, had presented the proposal in the Assembly.
Taking part in the discussion on the bill designed to make arrangement on law formulation process of village assembly, town assembly under province no 5 today itself, Asthabhuja Pathak of the opposition party said that rights of Province Assembly should be clear in local-level and misuse taking place in the name of local government should be stopped.
Similarly, Province Assemblymember Indrajit Tharu argued that persons for drafting the law in rural municipality and municipality were necessary.
Responding to queries of members, Minister KC said that they would move ahead amending the laws.
Likewise, Minister KC also presented the bill regarding making arrangement on salary and facilities of Chief Minister and Ministers as well as the bill on making the arrangement of salary and facilities of Office-Bearers and members of Provincial Assembly at House today.
