Province-7 Chief Minister pledges to improve quality of community schools



Kailali, April 18

Province No. 7’s chief minister Trilochan Bhatta has said the province government is committed towards improving quality of community schools.

The Chief Minister who reached the Uttarbehadi-based Rastriya Secondary School in Dhangadhi to enroll his daughter Pushpa Bhatta stressed the need for support and cooperation from all quarters to the government in its efforts to boost up quality of community schools.

On the occasion, he enrolled his daughter in grade eight. She passed the class seven from the Devasthali Secondary School based in KI Singh Rural Municipality in Doti. As the Chief Minister said on the occasion, he wished to contribute to making the ongoing national enrollment campaign effective.

He took the time to calls on teachers, government employees and senior officials to compulsorily admit their children to community schools. “Have concerns towards community school and your concerns will help improve the quality of education.

The Chief Minister who reached the school accompanied by Kailali’s Chief District Officer Gobinda Prasad Rijal and Dhangadhi Sub Metropolis mayor Nrip Bahadur Bad enrolled a total of 11 children including his daughter in the school.

The nationwide ongoing school enrollment campaign had kicked off on April 15.
