Provinces-7 has endorsed its interim budget for the remainder three months of the running fiscal year 2017/18.
The proposal related to it was presented by speaker Arjun Bahadur Thapa. The meeting of the state assembly unanimously passed it.
Minister for Financial affairs and Planning Jhapat Bahadur Bohara had presented the appropriation bill seeking consideration for approval.
Minister Bohara responded to the queries raised by the lawmakers regarding the budget in the past sessions. The province executive had presented a budget of Rs 1.25 billion in the assembly. Of the total budget Rs 300.07 million has been allocated under current expenditure, Rs 150.57 for capital and Rs 560 million for miscellaneous.
Next meeting of the SA is scheduled for 1:00 pm on May 2.
