Due to the rain today has partially affected domestic flights at Tribhuvan International Airport. However, the International flights have not been affected- shared general manager of the airport, Debendra KC.
KC also added that low visibility has affected flights since today morning. Most particularly, domestic flights to high mountainous and hilly areas which has been covered with snow get affected, he said.
The total number of 28 air service providers have been operating flights from the airport.
In regard to this, the weather will witness changes and there are possibilities of light rain and snowfall especially in mountainous and hilly areas. This effect will occur for the next three days due to the influence of the westerly low pressure wind as shared by the the Meteorological Forecasting Division.
The division has also added that Kathmandu today recorded minimum 5 degrees Celsius temperature and maximum 18 degrees.
