Remarkable progress in PM Oli’s health, provided liquid food

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is recuperating after he underwent a kidney transplant on Wednesday, shared Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH).

The newly transplanted kidney has started functioning- read the press release published by the hospital on Thursday.

“The PM’s condition is stable, all the procedures including injection and feeding to be carried post-operation are taking place,” said Prof. Dr Prem Krishna Khadga, Executive Director at the TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj.

Dr Prem Raj Gyawali, who led the team of doctors, said PM Oli’s transplanted kidney is functioning well as the metabolic by-products in his body have been flushed out through urine.

PM Oli underwent a kidney transplant at the TUTH on Wednesday. As his health condition has remained stable, doctors have provided liquid food to PM Oli.

If the Prime Minister’s health condition improves as expected, he will be discharged in a week, according to doctors.

Likewise, the health condition of Samikshya Sangraula who donated the  kidney to PM Oli  is also stable, according to doctors.

Prior to this, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Ishwor Pokhrel, NCP Vice President Bamdev Gautam along other dignitaries have reached to the hospital in order to ask for the health condition of PM Oli.
