A businessman has commissioned the construction of a pilgrims’ guest house at Galeshwardham, the famous pilgrimage site at Beni Municipality-9 in Myagdi district.
The guest house for the pilgrims is being constructed with the Rs 5 million support of the Govinda Saraswati Foundation set up by Govinda Das Shrestha of Kathmandu. Shrestha is the operator of the Hotel Radisson in Kathmandu.
Shrestha and his spouse, Saraswati, jointly laid the foundation stone for the construction of the two-storied guest house. The guest house will have six rooms and can accommodate 100 people. The Galeshwar Shivalaya Area Development Trust is constructing the guest house.
