RUWON Nepal distributes food packages to COVID affected people in Kathmandu

Rural Women’s Network Nepal (RUWON Nepal), has distributed food packages to the people in need in Kathmandu on 29 2021.

RUWON, in coordination with its local, national, and international partners and supporters launched the Emergency Community Food Pack Distribution Program in Kathmandu. The distribution was held at the Bal Uddhar Secondary School.

This time the 15 families were provided with groceries, including rice, oil, lentils, and other essential cooking items. According to the management team, this time the support comes from Bageswari Raju, Paul Kehoe, and family from Australia.

According to RUWON, the main objective of this program is to support marginal and low economical background families, daily wage workers, and laborers families to this pandemic.
