Anu Gurung was honouced for winning silver medal in the recently held 13th South Asian Games. Gurung was honoured at a function held in Damauli of Tanahu on Saturday.
The program was organized by ‘The Athletes and Trainers Association,’ Tanahu. The association felicitated Gurung, a resident of Bandipur rural municipality-6 in the district and was also taken around Damauli bazaar along with honours.
Anu had won silver medal in 61 kg category in the regional sports event in 13th SAG. Similarly, mayor of Byas municipality felicitated Anu for enhancing the pride of the country and the district.
