The Supreme Court (SC) has ordered the government to send stranded people safely to their home who are facing difficulties due to the lockdown enforced by the government.
Hearing a writ filed by Advocate Prakashmani Sharma among others, a joint bench of Justices Aananda Mohan Bhattarai and Sapana Pradhan Malla on Friday made the order.
The apex court has ordered the government to send the starnded people to their homes by adopting safety precautions.
People, particularly students and daily wagers, have been leaving Kathmandu Valley on foot amid the extended lockdown.
