The Nepal government is administering the second dose of Vero Cell across the country from Friday.
Those who received the first dose of Vero Cell from July 14 are being administered second dose from August 6, said the Department of Health Services under the Ministry of Health and Population.
Preparations are underway to administer the second dose of China Vaccine to the people above 55 years after 21 days. Similarly, the Department has said that those who have not received the COVID-19 vaccine have to compulsorily register their names on the website of the Health Ministry.
The ministry will map out accordingly and arrange vaccines for the target people.
Likewise, Nepali citizens bound for foreign countries will get a digital COVID certificate (with QR Code) from National Ayurveda Research and Training Center (NARTC) in Kirtipur from today.
This service will gradually be extended to other districts of the country in the days ahead, said the Department of Health Services.
