But it seems that eight-year-old Selena Gomez, wanted to be more than just ‘friends’ with the man inside the purple dinosaur’s costume.
‘He was [hot]. Very much so,’ the 25-year-old Love Will Remember singer revealed in an interview with DJ Nick Grimshaw on the U.K.’s BBC Radio 1 on Thursday.

She even remembered Demi, also eight, commenting on how attractive he was.
Selena explained: ‘You have to be very fit to do that because it’s 50 pounds of costumes.
‘So he’d take it off and he’d have his muscles and he’s sweating and we’re like, “Okay, we are children,” but it was great.’
Selena couldn’t remember the name of the actor who played the purple dinosaur, pointing out that there were many different Barneys throughout the show’s 21-year run.

‘But the one we got was pretty great.’
He was likely actor Dean Wendt, 49, who voiced Barney from 2002 to 2013.
Meanwhile, Selena also took part in Nick’s game where he plays stars their own songs and asks them to continue singing after he turns the track off.
