Senior journalist Dhruba Hari Adhikari has been commended with the Bijay Babu Memorial Journalism Award on Tuesday. In order to mark the third anniversary of News Karobar Digital News Paper, Adhikari was awarded at a function.
The award was established in memory of the editor of the newspaper Bijay Babu Khatri, who expired in a road accident at Saljhandi of Rupandehi. Adhikari was feted for his contribution to the development of Nepali journalism arena.
Nepal Rastra Bank governor Dr Chiranjeevi Nepal and Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) President Govinda Acharya have addressed the program.
