Chitwan, April 22
Minister for Drinking Water and Sanitation Bina Magar has vowed to work by making short term and long term plans to ensure supply of clean drinking water.
After an inspection visit of Drinking Water and Sanitation Division Office today, Minister Magar said that long-term plans were needed to resolve the crisis of drinking water in 22 districts of Tarai region.
She also said that some problems have emerged in work execution in the absence of responsibility sharing between the federal and provincial governments.
On the occasion, preparations were ongoing to manage clean drinking water through the management of water of the Narayani River.
Similarly, Minister Magar enquired about the health condition of 14 patients of Kanchanpur district who are receiving treatment at BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital, Chitwan.
