Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has submitted a survey report on the credibility of the media amidst the coronavirus pandemic to the Press Council Nepal.
FNJ President Govinda Acharya handed over the survey report to Kishor Shrestha, Acting Chairman of Press Council Nepal amidst a program on Friday.
In the report television has been taken as the most credible means of communication, followed by print and radio respectively.
Among those respondents who participated in the survey, 50 percent said television is the most credible media, 18.2 percent voted for print while 17.6 percent went for radio as the credible means of communication, said the report.
According to the report, the social networking sites is the least credible.
Similarly, 13.1 percent of the participants voted for online media as the credible means of communication.
