Kathmandu, April 26
Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Banskota has opined for reaching access to communication technology in remote areas.
In a programme jointly organized on the occasion of International Girls in ICT by Ministry and Nepal Telecom Authority, State Minister, Banskota opined that the state should make a policy to utilize such facilities as much as.
He also said that the IT communications should utilize in the proper way otherwise it could mislead the nation.
On the occasion, Nainendra Prasad Upadhyay secretary at the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens, Secretary at the National Women Commission Anil Kumar Thakur, Director General at the Department of Communication Technology Laxmi Prasad Yadav, NTA senior director Ananda Prasad Khanal had also expressed their views.
