Tenth National fine arts exhibition is to be held on April 14 on the occasion of the founding day of Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA).
The exhibition which will run for three weeks, a 65-member Exhibition Organizing Main Committee has been formed with NAFA Chancellor Kanchha Kumar Karmacharya as the coordinator for the exhibition.
Chancellor Karmacharya addressing a press conference on Sunday said that the collection of artworks has begun for the exhibition which aims to include 500 pieces of works of art.
Similarly, seven different sub-committees have already started their work preparing for the exhibition in different genres, said Sushma Rajbhandari, coordinator of the Exhibition Publicity Sub-committee.
The best artists under various genres participating in the exhibition would be awarded. The award for best art writing and the National Fine Art Award will also be conferred to the winners on the occasion.
