Our dignitary Founder & CEO of The British College, Mr. Rajen Kandel signed an MoU with the Rector, Mr. Kenzhebek Ibrashev, Kazakh British Technical University, Almaty on Student exchange program and the visit of TBC students to KBTU and vice versa with possibilities of dual degree programs with appropriate British Universities at BG Hall, Kazakhstan. A memorandum of understanding (MOU) is a non-binding agreement between two parties that sets forth the key terms of potential, soon to follow the binding agreement.
The participants of the above were Mr. Kenzhebek Ibrashev, Rector, Mr. Maratbek Gabdullin, Vice Rector for Research and Innovation, Mr. Muhammad Sheraz, Vice Rector for Internationalisation, Mr. Azamat Muratov, Managing Director, Mr. Madina Bigabatova, Vice Dean of Business School, Mr. Alibek Bisembayev, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Mr. Assel Akzhalova, Director of IDC and Mr. Gulzira Yestekova, Head of Postgraduate Study Centre.
During the meet, after the introduction by Mr Muhammad Sheraz and the Rector’s greetings and welcome, Mr. Kandel gave a presentation about his prestigious company and work. Thereafter, Mr. Muhammad Sheraz, Vice-rector for internationalization spoke about the KBTU highlighting relevant information and strengths of the university. Mr. Kandel spoke about the main focus of the meeting, which was the discussion on possible ways of cooperation. In other words, student exchange programs and the visit of TBC students to KBTU. This MoU lays down a path for the KBTU’s students visit and study at TBC Nepal or Dubai. This will also provide a significant opportunity for student recruitment from Nepal and India. It also highlights the possibilities of dual degree programs with appropriate British Universities. This significant meet can turn out to be hugely influential and can have a paramount effect on the education sector of our country.
