The government urges one and all to obtain guardianship of one child from the deprived community



Kathmandu, April 10
The government has urged one and all to voluntary own up guardianship of children deprived of education from poor, extremely poor and marginalised communities and community on the verge of extinction.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers today decided to call on everyone to find at least one child from such communities, help them for enrollment at the school and voluntarily obtain their guardianship, according to Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology, Gokul Prasad Baskota.
All office bearers of political parties, federal parliament and State Assembly members and local level representatives, business community, intellectual community, civil society members, media persons, cine artists, theater artists, university teachers, educationalists, professionals, government employees, school management committees, other government and non-governmental organisations, teachers, students and parents have been requested to extend helping hand to government’s campaign aims to provide education to all children.
Likewise, the meeting decided to transfer Secretary at the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM), Rajib Gautam, to the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and promote Dilliraj Ghimire and bring him to the OPMCM in place of Gautam. —
