The United Kingdom (UK) has reported 828 new deaths taking the total tally to 17,337 as of Wednesday morning.
With 4,301 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 129,044 according to Worldometer.
Currently, 111,363 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 1, 559 are critical.
Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 177,402 and infecting 2,554,568 people as of Wednesday morning.
