A drinking water project targeting the folks from Shantinagar and Dangisharan in western region of Dang has been commenced.
The drinking water supply project of worth Rs 50 million is assisted by the Province No. 5 in the current fiscal year. The project which is named as ‘Gairikhet Chisapani Drinking Water Project’ is expected to come into operation by the end of this fiscal year.
Province pivot academy Member Bimala Oli marked the ground breaking of the project at a special function. According to Chairman of the drinking water project Goman Bahadur Oli, Some two dozen settlements in the two rural municipalities are expected to benefit from the project.
