‘The World Fair Trade Day- 2019’ is being celebrated on Saturday by organising several programmes tomorrow.
The second Saturday of May every year is marked as the ‘World Fair Trade Day’. World Fair Trade Group Nepal organised an extensive discussion programme on the topic here today on the eve of the Day.
According to group chair Chitra Bahadur KC, the Day primarily aims to ensure the rights of marginalised farmers and producers and contribute to the sustainable development through the emphasis on fair terms of trade.
