The Yamaha MOTOROiD concept motorcycle is displayed at the Yamaha booth during CES 2018 at the Las Vegas Convention Center on January 11, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The AI-powered MOTOROiD is designed to be able to interact with its rider. It incorporates facial recognition and haptic technology and a rider can use hand gestures to make the vehicle stop, move forward and backwards. The motor is located in the wheels and the battery cells are used as a counterweight for balancing since there is no gyro. CES, the world’s largest annual consumer technology trade show, runs through January 12 and features about 3,900 exhibitors showing off their latest products and services to more than 170,000 attendees.
