Reconstructed historic Kedarnath temple inside Bhaktapur Durbar Square has been inaugurated by Prem Suwal, lawmaker and secretary of the Nepal Workers and Peasants Party amid a function in Bhaktapur on Tuesday. Bhaktapur municipality carried out the reconstruction of the temple damaged in the devastating earthquake of April, 2015.

The police have arrested a leader of the banned Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Bikram Chand. Hari Chandra Jaishi, Bheri Zone Bureau member of the CPN, has been brought to the district headquarters, Khalanga for investigations, said

Rohit Shrestha, a Nepali immigrant in the United States of America, has ascended Mount Everest. Shrestha achieved this feat in 41st days. Shrestha, who had determined to reach atop the world’s highest peak following his ascent to Island Mountain, achieved this resolution 12 years later.
