The second season of Mister and Miss Rotaract is going to be held at Nepal Academy Hall in Kathmandu on March 9.
The pageant is a nationwide competition among the charismatic and intelligent male and female Rotaract members who could showcase their skills, personality and talent.
Rotary District 3292 Nepal and Bhutan are jointly organizing the event where youths from 18 to 30 years will compete, according to Rotaract Peshal Bhattarai.
The pageant is aimed at exploring talents among the Rotaracts and develop them to be future leaders, said Bhattarai, adding that the selected candidates from various places across the country would be provided different trainings over the three-day close camp.
“We believe that a person should not be taken at his/her face value but at the qualities they show. The event will provide platform for the Rotoracts to build their personality and bring to light their hidden talents through the event,” he underscored.
Rotary Club is a 1.2 million passionate individuals in over 35,00 clubs worldwide which brings together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service and to advance the cause of peace and humanitarian cooperation.
Nepal has over 120 Rotaract and clubs have around 3,500 members nationwide.
